After a long day at work, the best way to unwind is usually by having a nice, relaxing shower. That old staple usually does the trick but Aqata, UK wants to take your shower into the 21st century. The shower unit not only looks slick but it also touts a feature exclusive to the Adagiomove line: an automatic opening sliding door that activates with the push of a button.
Naturally, an automatic door needs a power source to function. However, consumers need not be concerned about electrocution as the Adagiomove uses a low-voltage (12v) main power connection which is compliant with European safety standards. Safety is fundamental to Aqata as they have fitted the shower unit with built-in sensors that automatically arrests the movement of the door should anything obstruct the entryway. In the event of a power failure, the shower door can be opened manually.
Just because the shower is all about safety, there’s no reason it can’t look fabulous. Aqata offers function and form with sturdy, polished stainless steel and 8mm toughened glass. Not an inch of bulkiness is present in the design as the profile for the shower unit is slim and all the inner workings are discreetly hidden. There is no information on pricing or availability at the moment but interested consumers can keep their eyes on the company’s website.
